Controller and contact
The controller for enquiries and projects is SKLOSERVIS-BROD s.r.o., company ID 02596491, with its registered office at č.p. 314, 760 01 Březnice, Czech Republic. The workshop is at Prakšická 281, 688 01 Uherský Brod.
For privacy questions or rights requests, use our Write an email or Call us buttons, or the enquiry form. Within the company, only the owner has access to the contact mailbox.
Visiting the website
This website presents products and services. It has no enquiry database, user accounts, online shop, first-party advertising or analytics measurement.
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to Web3Forms, which relays them to the company’s Gmail mailbox. Web3Forms also receives technical request information, such as your IP address. We do not save form details in browser local storage. The form confirmation means acceptance by the service, not verified inbox delivery. The homepage’s “Write an email” button leads to the Contact page. On that page, “Write an email” opens your mail application with the recipient filled in; it does not send a message itself. Contact details become available in the browser when you use a contact button, keeping them out of the page’s plain HTML. This does not prevent all automated collection.
When serving pages, GitHub Pages processes technical request information, such as your IP address and connection details, including for service security. This is distinct from storing an enquiry in a company database. See the GitHub privacy statement.
Optional Google map
We load the Google map only after you select “Agree and load the map”. Until then, your browser makes no connection to Google for the map. “Without the map” leaves the address and external link available. We do not save consent; it applies only to the currently open map. “Close map” or navigating to another page removes the embed; opening it again requires fresh consent.
Loading the map sends Google your IP address and technical browser and request information. Google may use cookies and similar storage and process data for its own purposes under its privacy policy. The scope also depends on your browser and account settings and choices with Google. Closing the map does not undo earlier processing or erase any Google data or cookies. See the cookies page for storage controls and Google’s cookie policy. The separate “Open in Google Maps” link opens the external service under its own policies.
Enquiries and projects
If you email us, we process your sender address, message and information you choose to include, such as your name, telephone number, dimensions or project location. Send only what is needed to handle your enquiry. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information and other people’s personal information.
We use this information to reply, prepare a quotation and, where applicable, arrange and carry out a project. Steps towards a contract requested by you and contract performance rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. General or business correspondence may rely on the legitimate interest in handling communications under Article 6(1)(f). Required accounting and tax records follow the relevant legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c). Protecting rights and handling claims may rely on a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f).
An enquiry does not require marketing consent. Without enough project information and a usable reply channel, we may be unable to respond or prepare a quotation. This website does not make automated customer decisions or perform profiling.
Retention and retrievability
This website does not save enquiries in a separate database. Email correspondence and paper or electronic material nevertheless remain retrievable while the enquiry is being handled.
The owner handles retention and deletion; the website code does not delete Gmail messages or paper documents.
We retain an ordinary resolved enquiry and related material for 7 days after it is resolved, so it can be retrieved. A customer may email us to request longer retention for a specific continuation of discussions. We agree the purpose and additional period individually.
You may also email us at any time to request deletion of personal information, including emails, electronic files and paper material. Erasure is assessed under GDPR conditions. It does not cover information that must still be retained to meet a legal duty or legitimately protect specific legal claims.
If an enquiry becomes a project, information needed for performance is retained for the project and related duties and claims. Accounting, tax and other mandatory documents follow the statutory periods applicable to their category. The seven-day period for a resolved enquiry does not replace those duties or the hosting and email providers’ own retention rules.
Service providers and transfers
GitHub Pages hosts the website. The contact address uses Google’s Gmail service. Sending an email also involves the sender’s and recipient’s email services. The web form uses Web3Forms. We configured this form to automatically delete submissions older than 7 days. Further processing information is available in the Web3Forms privacy policy. Web3Forms counts this period from submission, rather than from the resolution of an enquiry by the company. This setting does not delete copies delivered to Gmail.
Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and India. Their processing and described transfer mechanisms are explained in the GitHub statement, Google privacy policy and Web3Forms privacy policy. Web3Forms describes Standard Contractual Clauses in its processing agreement and may also send IP and email addresses to spam-checking services. You can request further information using the company contact above or make your enquiry by telephone.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure and restriction. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. If a specific purpose relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send requests using the contact details above. Proportionate identity verification may be needed to protect personal information. You may also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
