Cookies and browser storage
Updated 18 October 2026.
Current website
This website sets no first-party cookies and uses no first-party analytics or advertising measurement. The optional Google map follows the rules below.
When you manually select a language or light/dark theme, the browser saves that choice in localStorage. The skloservis-language entry contains the language and skloservis-theme contains the theme; both also contain an expiry date. These entries remember your requested feature, stay in your browser and are not used to track visits.
Each manual choice lasts at most 180 days from the time it is saved. Loading a page does not extend this period. The website removes expired or invalid choices when next loaded. Automatic device defaults are not saved. You can remove the entries at any time by clearing this site’s browser data; device defaults will then apply again. If storage is blocked, the controls work for the current page without persistence.
The footer’s “Use device theme” button removes the saved theme choice. It does not change the language preference.
When you request a page, the hosting provider receives technical request information such as your IP address. GitHub Pages also processes this information for service security. See the GitHub privacy statement.
Optional Google map
The embedded map loads only after you select “Agree and load the map”. Before that, the map makes no connection to Google. The equally available “Without the map” option leaves it off; the address and external link remain available.
Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and technical browser and request information. It may use its own cookies and similar storage. Their use and retention depend on Google’s service, browser and account settings, and your choices with Google. We therefore do not give a fixed cookie inventory or a single lifetime. See the Google privacy policy and Google cookie information.
Consent applies only to the currently open map; this website does not save it in cookies or local storage. “Close map” removes the embedded map, as does navigating to another page. Opening it again requires fresh consent. Closing it does not undo earlier processing or erase any cookies or data held by Google. Manage these through your browser and Google settings. Google processes data under its own policies, potentially outside the European Economic Area; see this website’s privacy notice.
Form and external links
Submitting the form sends its content and technical request information to Web3Forms. The website does not load its tracking script or an embedded CAPTCHA. The JavaScript request omits that service’s cookies. The form is unavailable without JavaScript; you can use the public business listing link instead. See the privacy notice.
“Open in Google Maps” and other external links open separate services independently of consent to the embedded map. After you open a link, its operator may process information under its own policies.
